MESA, AZ (CBS5) -
A Mesa high school student remained in the hospital Friday morning after he was found with no pulse and not breathing on a bus Thursday afternoon.
Mesa firefighters said the 15-year-old boy was pulled from the bus leaving Westwood High School about 3:15 p.m. and the bus driver began CPR.
He was joined by a nurse and minutes later emergency personnel who continued CPR and advanced life-support measures until an ambulance took the student to a hospital.
A Mesa fire spokesman said the student had a known medical condition, but did not say what it was. He said the 15-year-old boy was still alive Friday morning, but his exact condition was not known.
