TEMPE, AZ (CBS5) -
A man was hospitalized for treatment of smoke inhalation after a house fire in Tempe.
The blaze broke out about 6 p.m. in the 900 block of Libra Drive, where a 53-year-old man was doing some welding work in the garage.
Tempe firefighters said the man walked into his house for about 10 minutes and saw smoke coming from the garage. He went back out to fight the fire, but was overcome by smoke.
His mother and a 23-year-old daughter were home, but neither was injured.
No other details were immediately available.
