Overseeding for Phoenix golf courses is scheduled

PHOENIX (CBS5) -

As winter approaches, golf courses across the country close down. But not here in Phoenix.

The Phoenix Park and Recreation Department has the schedule set for overseeing the fairways, tees, and greens for all the city's courses for winter play.

Here is the schedule for overseeing:

Aguila 18 and Aguila 9 located at 8440 S. 35th Ave. will be Oct. 8 through 19
Maryvale located at 5902 W. Indian School Rd. will be Oct. 8 through 19
Cave Creek located at 15202 N. 19th Ave. will be Oct. 22 to Nov. 3
Palo Verde located at 6215 N. 15th Avenue will be Oct. 18 through 29
Encanto 18 and Encanto 19 located at 2775 N. 15th Ave. will be Oct. 22 through Nov. 2.

For further information on Phoenix's golf courses visit phoenix.gov/golf. Golfers are able to book their tee times online up to eight days in advance.
