Man shot in Phoenix alley, gunman flees

PHOENIX (CBS5) -

A shooting in an alley behind an apartment complex left one man wounded, Phoenix police said.

The victim's brother appeared with a gun and fired shots into the air to scare away the gunman, officers said.

The victim was shot in the leg and taken to the hospital.

The shooter took off in a car.

There is no description available of the gunman or getaway vehicle.

No further information is available at this time.
