A woman riding a bicycle was in critical condition at a West Valley hospital after she was struck by a bus in Sun City on Friday morning.
Maricopa County Sheriff's Office spokesman Officer Christopher Hegstrom said the bus hit the woman before dawn Friday near Grand and 111th avenues.
He said the unidentified woman was flown to a hospital but was expected to survive.
Video news footage showed the bicycle under the rear passenger tire of the bus.
Roads in the area are closed while the accident is investigated.
