The cover of the latest issue of the international edition of Vogue Magazine is causing some controversy.

It appears to show a female model being choked by a man.

According to report by the web site, The Daily Beast, the groups Sanctuary for Families, Safe Horizon, Equality Now and the New York chapter of the National Organization for Women say the cover promotes domestic violence with sex and glamour.

They are asking for the publisher, Condé Nast, to pull the magazine from newsstands.
