TUCSON, AZ (CBS5) -

Border agents seized nearly two tons of marijuana worth nearly $2 million in two incidents over the weekend.

An abandoned vehicle yielded 64 bundles and 1,699 pounds of pot with an approximate value of $849,500 when it was discovered by Casa Grande Border Patrol agents, Immigration and Customs Enforcement's Homeland Security Investigations and Pinal County Sheriff's Office in a joint operation near Stanfield.

Agents from the Ajo border station found an abandoned vehicle near State Route 86 just west of Why containing 2,085 pounds of marijuana worth about $1,042,500.

Citizens can report suspicious activity to the Border Patrol by calling 1-877-872-7435 toll free.
