An off-duty Glendale police lieutenant has been cited on suspicion of DUI.
Phoenix police arrested Rachael Bousman, 39, Friday at about 1:15 a.m.
Her car was reportedly stuck on a parking block near Seventh Avenue and Bethany Home Road, according to Sgt. Trent Crump of the Phoenix Police Department.
Police drew blood to determine her blood alcohol content. The blood draw will establish the BAC level at a later date, Crump said.
Bousman is a 14-year veteran of Glendale police.
Bousman was released from custody but will remain on administrative leave while the department conducts an internal investigation, said Sgt. Brent Coombs, Glendale police spokesman.
