Shopping can be a great way to relax or spend time with friends. However, if your need to shop is compulsive, it could be the sign of a condition called Compulsive Buying Disorder.
Researchers estimate that up to 6 percent of Americans are so-called shopaholics.
According to a report in the Huffington Post here are several signs you might have a problem.
-You have many unopened or tagged items in your closet
-You often purchase things you don't need or didn't plan to buy
-An argument or frustration sparks an urge to shop
-You experience a rush of excitement when you buy
-Purchases are followed by feelings of remorse
-You try to conceal your shopping habits
-You feel anxious on the days you don't shop
