MESA, AZ (CBS5) -
Two men have been arrested for allegedly using PVC pipes to sell heroin around the Valley.
Mesa police said Cruz Alarcon-Lozano and Jorge Gutierez, both 24, were arrested Thursday.
Police searched Gutierez's vehicle and found five, half-foot PVC tubes with capped ends that contained heroin.
Police said Gutierez's 4-month-old daughter was in a car seat in the back seat where the drugs were.
Police tracked down Alarcon-Lozano after he threw a PVC tube, also containing heroin, into the bushes from his vehicle.
Police said 10.2 pounds of heroin and four pounds of methamphetamine were seized, together valued at $425,000.
Both men were booked on drug charges and Gutierez also faces child endangerment charges.
His baby was turned over to the baby's mother.
