Four suspected undocumented immigrants were arrested Thursday by Maricopa County sheriff's deputies in connection with a search warrant served on a Chandler restaurant.
Sheriff's deputies said several of the 35 employees at La Casa Blanca at 24605 South McQueen Rd. were suspected undocumented immigrants using false or stolen IDs to secure their employment.
Thursday's operation began after deputies received information on the sheriff's illegal immigration hotline indicating the restaurant had several employees using false identifications.
MCSO said efforts are under way to track down additional suspects.
This week, 40 undocumented immigrants have been arrested in various operations from human smuggling and drop house investigations to criminal employment probes.
