A candlelight memorial is planned Thursday night for a man who went missing Sept. 2 while floating down the Salt River.

Joshua Williams, 22, was tubing with friends when he got separated from the group. A body was recovered on Sept. 5 but it hasn't been determined if it was the man search teams had been looking for.

The candlelight memorial will take place at 7:30 p.m. at Apache Park, 1300 N Hartford St. in Chandler.

A fundraising car wash is planned for this Saturday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Carl's Jr. at 1972 N. Alma School Rd. in Chandler.

People can also make donations to the Joshua Williams Memorial Fund at any Wells Fargo Bank locations. The account number is 8405942866. People can also mail deposits to Wells Fargo, P.O. Box 3488, Portland, OR, 97208-3488. When mailing the deposit, be sure to include the account number on the check.
