The recent monsoon rains have more Valley residents concerned about mosquitoes and the West Nile virus.
Maricopa County Environmental Services wants you to know they're here to help. You should contact them first if mosquitoes become a problem in your neighborhood.
"If you call the different cities, code enforcements, or organizations like that, they just turn around and call us. That could create delays in getting us out there," said Environmental Services Supervisor David Guerrieri.
Depending on the complaint, they'll even come out, inspect the area, and possibly set out new traps and/or fog the area.
