The US Preventive Services Task Force is again recommending against ovarian cancer screenings for healthy women.
They say the risks outweigh the benefits.
Even though ovarian cancer is the fifth most common cancer for women, preventive screenings result in too many false positives.
That number is roughly one in three.
Some of those women went on to have invasive surgeries they didn't need.
