MANCHESTER, CT (WFSB) -

A Manchester man caused quite a stir at a local fast food restaurant Saturday night after he showed up naked and intoxicated at the eatery.

Police were called to the Wendy's at 260 Broad St. just after 6 p.m. for a report of a naked man screaming at the restaurant's staff. Upon arrival, police found Robert Mitchell, 48, of 330 Center St. wearing shorts that were too big for him and staggering towards the woods behind the Wendy's, police said.

When officers tried to assist Mitchell, he proceeded to scream and curse at them, police said.

Witnesses told police that Mitchell came to the Wendy's naked and intoxicated while he screamed at staff and customers in the store. It is unclear when Mitchell put on shorts.

Mitchell has been charged with breach of peace and is being held on a $1,000 bond.
