GLENDALE, AZ (CBS5) -

Three men, including one with a possible minor gunshot wound, were arrested at a Circle K convenience store and gas station in Glendale after a residential burglary attempt on Monday morning.

Mark Flores, 28, was booked into jail on charges of second-degree burglary, possession of burglary tools and a probation violation.

Juan Avalos, 31, was jailed on charges that also included second-degree burglary and possession of burglary tools.

A third suspect, a woman, was released pending review.

Glendale police said the three suspects tried to burglarize a residence at 8600 W. Pierson Street at approximately 9:10 a.m. when the homeowner grabbed a shotgun and fired one round.

Police said they stopped a vehicle with the suspects in the Circle K lot near 75th and Glendale avenues. All three were arrested, including one person with a slight wound to his leg, possibly from the shotgun.
