CHANDLER, AZ (CBS5) -

Chandler police said they are looking for a man who they believe put his hand under the skirt of two victims this summer inside a popular craft store.

Detective Seth Tyler with the Chandler Police Department said on June 15 and on June 5 of this year, the man inappropriately touched the victims inside the Hobby Lobby Store at 3456 West Chandler Blvd.

Tyler said one of the victims reported the incident, while the other, who police said is a juvenile, did not.

"This behavior is very indicative of a predator," said Tyler.

The man is believed to target women in skirts who are preoccupied.

"Both of the victims were wearing skirts," said Tyler. "And then he'll walk up behind them, he'll crouch down and then he'll grab their legs and start bringing his hands above their knees."

It's the kind of act that makes most moms shudder.

"It's scary, but it's not a surprise now days," said mother of two Julinda Cesena. "You go there and you think you're going to just run into other moms and you find out you're in for another surprise."

Police said once the victims responded to the man, he would get away and walk out of the store.

Investigators did get surveillance photos of the man inside the store, but he is wearing a ball cap and sunglasses.

He is described as a Caucasian or Hispanic male, 25 to 30 years old, 5'10" tall and approximately 170 pounds. Police say he is clean shaven with an athletic build.

Investigators said they had been following leads in the case since June, but those fell through.

If you know anything about the man, you are asked to call the Chandler Police Department.
