KINGMAN, AZ (AP) -
A Nevada man suffered minor cuts and scrapes after his ultralight plane was forced to make an emergency landing along the Arizona Strip.
Mohave County Sheriff's deputies say the plane experienced engine trouble minutes into its flight Thursday morning.
With no power, the pilot put the plane down in a desert area north of Interstate 15 just inside the Arizona-Nevada border.
Deputies identified the pilot as 71-year-old Jerry Roger Olsen, of Mesquite.
