Woman assaulted, robbed outside Phoenix bank

Phoenix police said a woman was knocked to the ground and had her bank deposit bag stolen in front of a Phoenix bank Tuesday morning.

Police said the woman was taking four days of deposits to an M&I Bank at 19th and Dunlap avenues about 10 a.m. when someone came up from behind, knocked her down and grabbed her bank deposit bag.

No other information was immediately available.
