PHOENIX (AP) -
Phoenix police say a 2-year-old girl is in critical but stable condition after falling from a second-floor apartment window.
Police Officer James Holmes said that the toddler was jumping on the top bunk of her bed when she fell through the screened window Saturday afternoon.
Authorities say the child was breathing when they arrived at the apartment. She was then rushed to an area hospital.
Holmes says the fall appears to be accidental.
