A Phoenix couple has been arrested on multiple drug and child abuse charges after officers found seven children living in a home with meth, crack and drug paraphernalia.
According to the police report, officers served a search warrant Tuesday on Juan Ruben Cruz's home on W. Diana Drive where they found the drugs in the bedroom and also discovered three handguns, one rifle and a sawed off shotgun.
Juan Ruben Cruz is not allowed to have firearms because he's a convicted felon.
Police said the children were ages 1 to 13.
Police said Juan Ruben Cruz admitted to smoking crack two hours before police arrived. He was taken into custody.
His wife, Serenia Cruz was also arrested on child abuse charges.
