PHOENIX (CBS5) -
A new program at Sky Harbor Airport is designed to make life a little easier for frequent fliers.
The Transportation Security Administration is introducing the new TSA pre-check lane in Terminal 4.
The system not only enhances security by pre-screening certain travelers online ahead of time but it also allows those who've been screened to pass through security more quickly and with less hassle.
"Basically with pre-check, I did not have to take my computer out of my bag and did not have to remove my jacket, jewelry or my wallet," shared traveler David Danner.
Starting Wednesday, the TSA pre-check program will begin operating at 20 airports nationwide.
