GLENDALE, AZ (CBS5) -

Glendale police said a 21-year-old woman ran a red light before her SUV jumped the curb and struck four people, including three Apollo High School students.

A police spokesman said the woman was expected to be cited for running the light.

Police said the woman was driving her green SUV eastbound on Northern Avenue when she ran the red light at the intersection of 47th Avenue. A pickup truck attempting to turn left collided with the SUV, causing it to jump the curb and onto the sidewalk where four people were waiting for the crosswalk light to change.

Police said two girls who are students at Apollo were taken to Valley hospitals for treatment of their injuries, none of which were life-threatening.

Another student and an adult were treated at the scene.
