FLORENCE, AZ (CBS5) -
Police have a man in custody whose wife's body was discovered in a blanket on the north end of Picacho Lake late last month.
Sgt. Rod Smith with the Coolidge Police Department said they were called to the 600 block of W. Shannon Way for a domestic violence call.
The victim identified the suspect as Bryan Shaw.
During the investigation, detectives found that Denise (Padilla) Shaw, Bryan Shaw's wife, was a missing person who may have been at the home.
On Monday afternoon, Denise Shaw's body was found in Pinal County and the victim's family positively identified her.
Pinal County Attorney candidate Lando Voyles said Bryan Shaw is the main suspect in the murder of his wife and the brutal baseball bat beating of Denise Shaw's girlfriend, Leslie Castillo on Aug. 26.
Bryan Shaw was arrested on aggravated assault charges and could face additional charges, according to police.
