GILBERT, AZ (CBS5) -
A Valley driver found a 14-year-old girl unconscious in the street.
She'd been robbed near a school bus stop, according to Gilbert police.
Authorities said the incident took place Friday morning at about 10:45 in front of Finley Farmers Elementary School.
The teenager told police that two men, about 18 to 20 years old, grabbed her breast and assaulted her.
However, she could not recall how she ended up unconscious by the side of the road.
The teen's belongings were found scattered nearby and her wallet was missing, police said.
Janet Groschel is a parent who lives nearby.
Groschel said she can't understand how something like this could happen.
"Absolutely shocked," said Groschel. "This neighborhood and area, we don't have anything like that. It's very busy, always parents and teachers watching out for other people's families and kids."
The victim's injuries are not considered serious.
Detectives are still investigating the case.
