SAN DIEGO (CBS5) -
A series of earthquakes that rattled California on Sunday morning is believed to be the cause of some damage in the Navajo Nation.
The U.S. Geological Survey said the first quake, a magnitude 3.9, hit just after 10 a.m. in the El Centro area.
Within a few minutes, three more quakes were reported from rural Imperial County to the San Diego coastline. The largest measured at 3.4 magnitude.
Preliminary reports indicated three quakes larger than a magnitude 5.3 struck back to back at about 12:30 p.m.
There have been no reports of injuries.
