Gilbert PD: Passer-by finds unconscious teen

GILBERT, AZ (CBS5) -

A passing motorist found a 14-year-old girl unconscious at a bus stop in Gilbert on Friday, police said.

The victim later told officers two older boys began groping her and she lost consciousness.

The motorist, who saw her near South Columbus Drive and East Mesquite Street, alerted police. Officers found the girl's belongings scattered nearby.

The girl was rushed to a local hospital for evaluation.

Police said her wallet had been stolen. Officers also stated the girl may know one of her attackers.
