EL MIRAGE, AZ (CBS5) -

Police in El Mirage have arrested two men who they believe broke into a car in a gas station parking lot while the car's owner was inside the store.

El Mirage police said the victim noticed her car window was broken and she saw a man walking away from her car with her things on Thursday in the area of 12100 N. El Mirage Rd.

The man fled in a vehicle that was found near the 135000 block of N. 123rd Drive.

Police said Melquiades Galvan, 37, was driving the car and Stewart Galligan, 33, was in the passenger seat.

Galligan was charged with burglary, and they both were charged with possessing a weapon, stolen property, burglary tools and driving on a suspended driver's license.
