PHOENIX (CBS5) -
Police said a man was shot while walking in a Phoenix neighborhood early Friday morning.
Police said witnesses reported hearing gunshots in the neighborhood near State Route 51 and Thomas Road just before 3 a.m.
Police said a man in his 20s who lives in the area had been out walking when he was shot. He was taken to a Phoenix hospital and was expected to survive.
A witness told police a white Ford F-150 pickup truck was seen leaving the area about the time of the shooting.
No other information was immediately available.
