PHOENIX (CBS5) -

The man accused of murdering a Paradise Valley couple and a Phoenix businessman was back in court Thursday morning.

Michael Crane pleaded not guilty to nine new charges related to a burglary late last year and a robbery in February.

He has already pleaded not guilty to killing Bruce Gaudet and Lawrence and Glenna Shapiro in January.

In both cases, the victims were robbed and murdered and their homes set on fire.

He said again Thursday that he plans to represent himself in court.

Another man arrested in connection with the crimes, Shawn Nicloy, plead guilty on Thursday to one count of trafficking in stolen property.
