Woman arrested for allegedly smuggling $175K of meth

LUKEVILLE, AZ (CBS5) -

A 22-year-old woman has been arrested for allegedly trying to smuggle 11 pounds of methamphetamine at the Lukeville Port on Tuesday.

The U.S. Customs and Border Protection said when they inspected the truck that Aydalid Albarez Andrade was driving using an X-ray machine and a K-9, they found narcotics valued at more than $175,000.

Andrade was turned over to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement's Homeland Security Investigations.
