Brandon Christian Pomales
PHOENIX (CBS5) -
A home invasion where the victims inside were held at gunpoint ended when the suspects left taking a large amount of marijuana.
Three suspects kicked in the front door of a house Monday afternoon then threatened the residents inside at gunpoint. Two of the victims tried to escape by jumping out of a second story window.
The three suspects left the house in a car with a large amount of marijuana that was taken from the home.
Neighbors saw the robbery happen and called 911, they then followed the suspect's car. When police arrived, they attempted to stop the suspect's car. When they did stop, all three men ran. Officers were able to catch all three.
Police identified the men as Brandon Christian Pomales, Cesar Davalos and Jose Jesus Ortega. Pomales was caught with a BB handgun and a pistol magazine with 9mm bullets. Pomales told officers he was in the area to meet up with a female to talk about a trailer hitch and the BB gun was for his protection. Even though the 9mm magazine was in Pomales' pocket, he denies having it.
The suspects stole roughly 50-75 pounds of marijuana.
The men have several charges against them.
Three of the victims were children ages 1 year old, 3 years old, and 10 years old.
