YCSO: Lightning strike likely ignited fire, destroyed AZ home

SELIGMAN, AZ (CBS5) -

Authorities believe lightning started a fire near Seligman that destroyed a home.

Yavapai County Sheriff's Office said neighbors called 911 on Aug. 16, and when firefighters arrived, the house in Bridge Canyon Estates was fully engulfed in flames.

Deputies said the homeowner was staying with family members in Ashfork at the time of the fire and plans to stay with them.
