PHOENIX (CBS5) -

A man suspected of sexually abusing a 13-year-old Phoenix girl fled the scene naked after the girl's mother found them together in the bedroom of their trailer, police said.

Gabriel Cruz-Perez, 25, was booked into jail on six counts of sexual conduct with a minor, two counts of child abuse and two counts of indecent exposure.

Police said the teen's mom came home from work with her husband and found a man's clothing on the living room floor which did not belong to her husband.

She began searching the home and discovered her daughter's bedroom door was locked, officers said. When the girl opened the door, she was dressed only in pants, police said.

The woman then found Cruz-Perez hiding under a sheet in the corner of the bedroom, according to officers. When she told the suspect she was going to call police, the man asked for his clothing back, according to a court document.

When the mom refused, Cruz-Perez escaped through the bedroom's sliding glass door, police said.

Officers found him at another trailer in the same trailer community. Both the mother and her daughter identified Cruz-Perez as the naked suspect in the girl's bedroom.
