DPS: Multiple-car crash shuts down part of I-10

PHOENIX (CBS5) -

Authorities are investigating what caused a multiple vehicle crash on Interstate 10 early Friday afternoon.

DPS said five to six vehicles were involved in the crash on eastbound I-10 at 19th Avenue.

The freeway was shut down in the area and traffic was diverted onto Interstate 17.

No other details were immediately available.
