PHOENIX (CBS5) -

Holiday cards designed by patients at Phoenix Children's Hospital were revealed Friday.

A kickoff celebration honoring the young patient artists and their holiday card designs for the 2012 Art Project was held as the first printings zipped through the printing presses.

This is the 26th Anniversary for the card project. Holiday card sales help to support Arizona's largest pediatric provider of cancer services for "The Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders" at Phoenix Children's Hospital.

Not only were the artists on hand to help see the first printings come off the presses at Ironwood Lithographers located at 455 S. 52nd St. in Tempe, but so were former and current patients of the Cancer Center. They also had help in getting the holiday cards printing with Santa and his elves.

The cost is $10 for fifteen cards. The cards are available online at www.pchkidsart.com. You also will be able to purchase them at all Safeway stores starting in November.Copyright 2012 CBS 5 (Meredith Corporation).  All rights reserved.
