Phoenix College coach honored

PHOENIX (CBS5) -

Hundreds of students, faculty members and friends gathered at Phoenix College today to remember a beloved football coach.

Current and former football players, all wearing their jerseys, filed into the memorial service for Land Jacobsen who had been a coach at the college since 2008.

He died a few days after being shot at his home in July.

Police have charged Justin McMahan with Jacobsen's murder.
