FD: Phoenix Environmental Management facility evacuated

PHOENIX (CBS5) -

Authorities have evacuated the Environmental Management System building in Phoenix while they investigate a HAZMAT situation.

Phoenix fire officials received the call about noon on Thursday that "a lid blew off top of a container" at the facility located in the 2100 block of S. Fifth Avenue.

There's no fire at this time.

No other details have been released at this time.
