Woman's death in Arizona City duplex fire ruled suicide

ARIZONA CITY, AZ (CBS5) -

The death of a woman found inside her burning Arizona City home has been ruled a suicide.

Pinal County Sheriff's Office said when the Arizona City Fire District responded to the 1000 block of W. Carousel Drive about 5 a.m. Thursday, they found the woman with a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Deputies said they found a handgun and suicide note near her body.

No one else was home at the time of the fire.
