Litter of puppies rescued from Phoenix mobile home fire

PHOENIX (CBS5) -

A litter of puppies and their mother are alive and well after being rescued from a mobile home fire Tuesday.

Phoenix fire officials said the fire broke out at about 5:15 p.m.

Fire officials said the dogs are doing fine now.

The family of five wasn't home and crews are working to find temporary housing for them.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
