PHOENIX (CBS5) -
The man convicted of killing nine people at a Buddhist temple more than 20 years ago was back in a Phoenix courtroom Tuesday.
Jonathan Doody stood before a judge for a pretrial conference.
Doody was convicted in 1994, but in May 2011, a federal appeals court overturned that conviction saying Maricopa County sheriff's investigators forced a confession out of Doody.
Six priests, a nun and two helpers were killed during a robbery at the temple in the West Valley back in 1991.
