PHOENIX (CBS5) -
A body found in the roadway late Monday morning is believed to be the victim of a fatal hit-and-run, according to police.
Phoenix police Sgt. Trent Crump said the victim was found at 44th Lane and Old West Trail about 11 a.m. The 50-year-old man was taken to the hospital where he died from his injuries.
Crump said detectives do not have a vehicle description.
