DPS: Stalled vehicle struck at full-speed on SR 202

PHOENIX (CBS5) -

A man in a broken down car was seriously hurt after being hit by a full-speed vehicle on SR 202, authorities said.

The Department of Public Safety representative Officer Carrick Cook said the car was on SR 202 Red Mountain at Scottsdale Road when the vehicle was hit, causing it to roll.

Traffic was diverted to the SR 101.

No other details were immediately available.
