PHOENIX (CBS5) -
It took Phoenix firefighters less than 90 seconds to arrive at a house fire, but not before the flames caused extensive damage to the home early Monday morning.
Capt. Scott McDonald said crews were quick to find the home at 2700 E. Roosevelt St. around 3 a.m. The flames were quickly brought under control but not before they ravaged the interior of the house.
The homeowner escaped with just minor smoke inhalation and no firefighters were hurt, McDonald said.
The cause was still under investigation.
