PHOENIX (CBS5) -
Police are hoping the public can help them find a man suspected of robbing a Little Caesars restaurant in Phoenix earlier this summer.
Silent Witness Sgt. Darren Burch said the suspect walked into the pizza store near 33rd Avenue and Indian School at 5:10 p.m. on June 21 and demanded money.
"He walks right up to the clerk and provides a note. The note basically demands money," said Burch.
He said the suspect showed the clerk a gun but that he appeared nervous in the video.
"For every journey there's that first step, and this could very well be his first armed robbery," Burch said.
After taking an undisclosed amount of cash, the suspect took off on foot.
He is described as a Hispanic male, 18 to 22 years old, 5' to 5'6" tall, 130 to 140 pounds, wearing a red baseball cap and a red "South Pole" T-shirt.
If you have any information for police, you are asked to call Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS.
You could receive up to a $1,000 reward.
