GLENDALE, AZ (CBS5) -
A Glendale man who heard some commotion outside his apartment was shot after he opened his door to see what was going on, police said.
The man, whose name was not released, suffered a gunshot wound to the neck and is expected to be OK, according to Detective Sergei Droban of the Glendale Police Department.
The shooting occurred late Saturday night at Spring Meadow apartments at 10030 N. 43rd Ave.
Police caught several suspects a short time later around 27th and Northern avenues.
The men were identified as Michael Bean, 27, and Walter Thomas, 26. Thomas was booked into jail for first-degree burglary. Bean was charged with armed robbery, aggravated assault and a probation violation.
