PHOENIX (CBS5) -
The eighth annual Arizona State Poker Championship is underway.
More than a thousand people are competing in the 5-day tournament which began this morning at Talking Stick Resort.
Those taking part are playing for a million dollar prize pool.
First place prize is more than $200,000.
Jacob Balsinger is in the field.
The ASU student is one of the final nine players in the final table of the World Series of Poker in October.
