Peoria police look for armed robbery suspect

Police said a man walked into a Circle K store at 8326 W. Union Hills Dr. just before 1:30 a.m., pointed a gun at the cashier and demanded money.

PEORIA, AZ (CBS5) -

Peoria police were looking for a man they said robbed a Circle K store early Thursday morning.

Police said a black man 20 to 25 years old walked into the store at 8326 W. Union Hills Dr. just before 1:30 a.m., pointed a gun at the cashier and demanded money. The woman gave him some cash and he ran off, police said.

No shots were fired and no one was injured, police said.

No other information was immediately available.
