Agents seize black tar heroin from woman crossing border

DOUGLAS, AZ (CBS5) -

A California woman was arrested for trying to smuggle 11 pounds of black tar heroin through the Douglas Port of Entry.

U.S. Custom and Border Protection said officers found the heroin in 28-year-old Rachel Amaya's Jeep Cherokee as she tried to cross the border.

The drugs were seized and Amaya was turned over to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement's Homeland Security Investigations.
