PHOENIX (CBS5) -
A woman who was being transported from Estrella Hospital to a behavioral health center in Scottsdale Tuesday morning on Interstate 10 near 67th Avenue jumped out of the van.
The woman was sitting in the front passenger seat when she jumped out.
An officer from Arizona DPS said that she hit the pavement really hard.
She was transported to St. Joe's Trauma Center where her condition is unknown.
The woman is expected to live.
